Banana Bread

This is my entry to JFI. This month's JFI is being hosted by Mandira of Ahaar.

Ingredients:
1. All purpose Flour - 1 1/2 cups
2. Ripe bananas - 2
3. Butter (melted) - 1/2 cup
4. Salt - a pinch
5. Baking Soda - 1 tsp
6. Cinnamon pd. - 1/2 tsp
7. Brown sugar - 3/4th cup
8. Eggs - 2
9. Nuts of your choice - a handful

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease the loaf pan.

2. In a bowl combine all the dry ingredients. In a large bowl mash bananas with a fork. Add butter, brown sugar and eggs. After mixing them well add the flour mixture and mix well with a wooden spoon. The batter will be a little lumpy because of the bananas.

3. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan. Sprinkle the nuts (I've used slivered almonds and finely chopped walnuts) and bake for 1 hour.

4. Cool the bread and make slices. Enjoy as is or by spreading butter.
